History

Founded in 1939, the Brookline Municipal Credit Union was formed by a group of people with a common bond – people who were principally interested in encouraging systematic savings and providing a source of low-cost loans, when members needed money. The philosophy and commitment to provide our members with savings accounts, affordable loan products and quality personal service still remains our cornerstone all these years later. Brookline Municipal Credit Union serves the employees and retired employees of the Town of Brookline and residents of the Town of Brookline and individuals who are employed or retired from employment in the Town of Brookline and one thousand other persons who live or work outside the Town of Brookline and their families.

The Credit Union offers a full range of financial services and products to our members such as direct deposit, payroll deduction, savings, certificate of deposits, personal loans, real estate loans, etc… The Credit Union offers access to your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our Audio Response system the B-Line (1-781-398-1855) and the ATM located in the Vestibule of the Credit Union.

We are dedicated to serving the financial needs of our members in the true credit union spirit of members helping members and to assist in solving their financial problems.
